Discover our solutions

Supporting health-conscious lifestyles

Smart health appliances are empowering the self-care trend, giving consumers the everyday digital tools and insights they need to look after their health and wellbeing, track their exercise activities and fitness, monitor important health data such as blood pressure and sleep, and take proactive measures in the event of irregularities.
Smart wearable and home devices, medical wearables, fitness trackers, sleep monitors, smartphones, and the like are enabling all this and more thanks to our sensors, microcontrollers, actuators, connectivity modules, security solutions, and software. Discover how digitalization is driving new levels of health, mindfulness, and patient engagement for more patient-centric care.

Bringing immersive AR to enterprise and medical environments

Magic Leap 2, the latest AR device from AR pioneer Magic Leap, is designed specifically for enterprise and healthcare applications. One of the key features of this latest Magic Leap generation is 3D indirect time-of-flight (iToF) depth sensing technology – co-developed by Infineon and pmdtechnologies.

Our improved iTOF technology connects the real and the digital world more intuitively through enhanced gesture control and more accurate user interactions, opening up novel use cases where precision and reliability are critical. These include remote maintenance and diagnostics of industrial machinery, for example, or AI-supported surgery giving doctors a better understanding of the patient’s anatomy.

Decarbonizing data centers for a greener future,

Discover why Super Micro Computer chose Infineon to help it develop its green computing platforms. Its MicroBlade® family offers the best server density for a variety of processors, reflecting our shared focus on energy efficiency and decarbonization. Featuring OptiMOS™ integrated power stages offering best-in-class efficiency, the MicroBlade® family gives the world’s 8,000 or so data centers the ability to save significant amounts of energy by reducing the cooling requirements of their server rooms. Given that current estimates predict that the world will be handling 175 zettabytes of data by 2025, OptiMOS™ technology has the potential to make a large contribution towards the decarbonization of computing.

Transforming things into payment devices

Why limit payment functionality to your credit card, smartphone, or smart watch? NFC-enabled payment chips can turn anything into a payment device. Our payment technology is helping to digitalize the payment space by empowering everything from smart watches and fitness trackers to rings, wristbands and more. All enabled by a chip half the size of a ladybug.
See how ultra-low power consumption and the smallest form factors are paving the way for a whole new generation of NFC-capable wearables for fast, convenient, and secured payments capable of meeting the increasingly exacting security and contactless requirements of the payment industry
