NFC actuation controller
The NAC1080 is a NFC actuation controller with integrated H-bridge and energy harvesting modules, enabling cost-effective development of passive smart actuators like passive locks. The low-power ARM® Cortex®-M0 based microcontroller with integrated NFC frontend, sensing unit, motor driver, and energy harvesting function enables customers to develop smart actuation devices with minimum system BOM requirement.
The flexible IC architecture and the smart partitioning between hardware and software enables customers to maximize the utilization of software-defined functions. Furthermore, the NAC1080 includes hardware security functions such as secure area in flash, 128 bit AES accelerator and true random generator. A separate secure element can be connected via the digital interface on demand.

We offer three software packages to support customers to do quick evaluation, fast product development.
Evaluation Package: the evaluation package provides the lock showcase software (mobile app and firmware) to test lock functions using the development kit: DEV_KIT_NAC1080. The lock Showcase Firmware is pre-installed in the evaluation board. You can start test immediately after the lock showcase mobile app is installed.
Development Package: this package consists of SDKs and sample projects for both firmware and mobile app development to support the fast application software development. Please follow the instruction to download and install the SDK. You can start with the provided sample project to setup development environment and generate first executable version of firmware and mobile app. Then step-by-step to add functions.
SourceCode Package: the mobile app development could be time consuming. You can buy our mobile app source code package to accelerate the software development even further. This package includes source codes of the mobile app SDK, the lock showcase mobile app for both Android and iOS, and the corresponding firmware. This package can be purchased via the SAP ordering process. Please see more details in the download link below.
