Infineon Donates Euro 100,000 for People Starving in East Africa
Neubiberg, Germany – July 29, 2011 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) donates Euro 100,000 for the people starving in East Africa. The donation will go to the people in support of the initiative of Germany’s Relief Coalition “Aktion Deutschland Hilft”. It will be used to supply water, provide food and improve the provision of emergency medical aid.
“In the face of drought and famine, there is a call to help the people in East Africa to overcome the extremely difficult situation. We, Infineon, want to do our bit,” said Peter Bauer, CEO of Infineon Technologies AG.
