Global Parameter:

This generic test-bench is switching resistive loads and can be used as a starting
point for different configurations
The additional circuitry is inspired from Application Diagram from datasheet

Simulation model contains 4 Junction to Ambient thermal networks associated to different
types JEDEC standards and 1 junction to package thermal network that allows external heat
sink connection.

To choose a certain thermal model, change the value of THERMAL_MODEL parameter

THERMAL_MODEL=2: P=1W; T=85C; PCB type: 1s0p 300mm2

between Tcase and TAMB

The Ambient temperature of the entire chip can be set by connecting a voltage source to TAMB
input pin.

The BTS7010-2EPA is a Smart High-Side Power Switch, providing protection functions and diagnosis.
The device is integrated in SMART7 technology.

• Overcurrent protection (tripping) with Intelligent Restart Control
• Undervoltage shutdown
