700mA linear LED controller demonstration board
This demo board introduces BCR601, a 60V linear DC-DC LED controller IC for general lighting applications. The BCR601 features a linear current regulation, various protection features and analog dimming options. Highlight feature of the BCR601 is the active headroom control (AHC) realized by a unique voltage feedback loop to primary side. This ensures not only keeping the current but also the voltage effectively under control. This board is intended for the design evaluation of cost-efficient, highly reliable, power efficient LED drivers with BCR601.
The board is configured to have an output current of 700mA. A modular reference design consisting of XDPL8219 board for primary side - a digitally configurable AC/DC flyback converter - together with BCR601 board is available.
