Infineon Complex Device Driver for Battery Management Systems

Infineon offers a complex device driver (CDD) for battery management systems. The CDD is a low-level software solution that helps to significantly reduce development time in BMS projects and fastens time to market, while providing maximum configuration flexibility. The CDD runs on AURIX™ microcontroller and supports the usage, configuration and supervision of Infineon’s Monitoring and Balancing ICs. It acts as a gateway between the battery management system application software and the BMS IC hardware devices and is ISO26262 (ASIL-D) as well as AUTOSAR compliant.
