12W AC/DC power supply evaluation board featuring 950V CoolMOS™ P7 Superjunction MOSFET

This 12W AC/DC power supply is designed specifically to power a 3 phase smart electricity meter, showcasing the latest 950V CoolMOS™ P7 SJ MOSFET. This evaluation board is also equipped with other Infineon components  such as QR PWM controller  and NPN silicon AF transistor.

The board aims at providing smart electricity meter designers with an idea on how to power up a smart meter using the latest state-of-the-art SJ technology.

This 12W 3-phase smart meter SMPS board satisfies all the necessary technical requirements. It also provides a wide AC input range from 185-460AC. It features more than 82% efficiency at full load, has an output short protection and better thermal performance with the latest CoolMOS™ P7 series.

Equipped with 950V CoolMOS™ P7 SJ MOSFET in DPAK, the board allows a drop in replacement by SOT-223, providing a cost down potential.
