EZ-PD™ CCGx Power Software Development Kit Archive For discontinued software, tools and discontinued products
Infineon’s Type-C controllers (CCGx) are programmable devices that are ideal for building all kinds of USB-C solutions. These controllers are based on Infineon’s PSoC™ programmable system-on-chip architecture, which includes programmable analog and digital blocks, an Arm® Cortex®-M0 core and flash memory.
Infineon provides the EZ-PD™ CCGx Power Software Development Kit (SDK) which facilitates the development of a variety of power source and/or sink solutions using the CCG3PA controller. The SDK includes a USB Type-C and USB-PD specification compliant firmware stack, reference firmware applications and documentation.
The CCGx Power SDK is based on Infineon’s widely used IDE – PSoC™ Creator – and makes use of the free GNU Arm tools that are packaged with PSoC Creator. The reference firmware is provided in the form of workspaces that can be opened using PSoC™ Creator and modified to meet the target hardware design.
The CCGx Power SDK installer package as well as associated documentation is available below for download. Given below is a description of the various download options:
- CCGx Power SDK Installer: This is the complete SDK installer which includes PSoC™ Creator 4.1 Update 1, EZ-PD™ Configuration Utility and the CCGx Power SDK.
