NFC battery-free smart lock development kit with NFC tag-side controller NAC1080
This development kit is a tool for engineers who aim to design battery-free smart locks with Infineon’s NFC tag-side controller NAC1080.
It consists of an evaluation board featuring the NAC1080 and one mini DC motor.
This development kit can be configured for operation in passive or active mode, with or without boost-buck stage. The available firmware package allows for testing the electrical part of the lock using different motor control methods.
The evaluation board has pre-installed lock showcase demo firmware. It can be tested together with lock showcase demo mobile app, which can be downloaded for free of charge after the product registration at “myInfineon”.

List of components
Lock demo software is provided to enable fast evaluation of lock functions using the NAC1080 development kit. After downloading and installing the Android version of the lock showcase mobile app., evaluation can start immediately.
Firmware: The lock showcase demo firmware is pre-installed in the shipped development kit. It is also available for download in case of a need of NVM reflash.
Mobile App.: Both iOS and Android lock showcase mobile app are provided for evaluation purpose.
