Infineon's LIN-based MOTIX™ 32-bit motor control SoC with integrated relay driver and Arm® Cortex®-M0 industry-standard microcontroller core, provides a powerful and efficient platform for relay-based motor control in a compact design. It integrates all the necessary functions to sense, control, and actuate a motor via a relay on a single die. The chip incorporates essential components such as a voltage regulator, LIN transceiver, switch inputs, and relay driver, streamlining the system and reducing the need for additional external devices. By consolidating essential functionalities into a single chip, the system becomes more robust, increasing the overall dependability of the automotive window lift mechanism.

Cost-effective MOSFET-based motor control solution for smart window lift
Infineon's MOTIX™ 32-bit motor control SoC with integrated H-bridge driver product family is a compact and cost-effective motor control solution based on Arm® Cortex®-M0 industry-standard microcontroller core with market proven peripherals providing a powerful and efficient platform for MOSFET-based motor control in a compact design. It comprises two full duplex serial interfaces (UART) with LIN support, and two on-chip temperature and battery voltage measurement units. The adaptive control algorithm is able to compensate the MOSFET parameters spread in the system. It is automatically adjusting gate current settings based on timing measurements to optimize the system's EMC (slow slew rates) and power dissipation (short dead times).
