OptiMOS™ 5/6/7 offers a full-blown portfolio of 60 V, 80 V, and 100 V MOSFETs for wide RDS(on) ranges in leadless 3x3 S3O8, 5x6 SSO8 packages. The combination with the OptiMOS™ T2 5x6 Dual SSO8 portfolio enables to find the right fit device for the DC-DC converter as well as for the reverse polarity protection.
Modular and flexible solutions for LED driver headlight systems
The TRAVEO™ T2G Body family is the most scalable microcontroller family in performance, memory, and peripherals.
Optimize system costs and space with high integration and performance
Our OPTIREG™ system basis chips (SBC) offer high integration and high performance with optimized system cost and space by gathering system supply and communication interfaces in one product.
Starting from scratch
If you are starting from scratch, see our reference design LEDFRONTHBLB_REF. The design guide describes the implementation of an automotive front light high beam/low beam combination in detail. It uses the flexible multi-topology DC-DC controller TLD5099EP of the LITIX™ Power family in the current-controlled buck-boost SEPIC configuration.
- Lighting applications are changing and there is the demand of more sophisticated pixel light sources. The new light sources need a different approach on the power supply and TLD5501-2QV covers the gap with the existing architectures. Moreover the TLD5501-2QV is also the preferred solutions for high intensity LED or Laser used in premium.
- To promote the device two evaluation boards are available. The device has been also included into DC-DC designer to reduce the design-in phase. Low level drivers are available to reduce the coding effort.
The TLD6098-2DPVB2G evaluation board is a dual-phase boost-to-ground switching power supply, which, under nominal conditions, can deliver a constant voltage of 43-52 V and a current of up to 7A.
