Christopher Choo, Application Engineer: "Several big brands in the consumer technology space extended me internship offers, but after talking with Infineon, I saw the value in gaining experience from a supplier rather than an OEM in the engineering space. Plus, the people I interviewed with expressed an unwavering desire to invest in my growth." 

Ingrid Hess, Internal Communications: “Infineon offered greater flexibility with a hybrid schedule versus other other internships I looked at. They were also more generous with their benefits, and made me feel like a regular team member throughout the onboarding process. I felt like I belonged from the start, which was a nice change.”

Lillian Ezell, HR: “The length of the internship is what stood out to me. I also liked the rotational aspect, which allows me to gain a wide variety of experience in the different HR departments.”

Colby Dorcely, Public Policy: “When I  joined Infineon, I believed that I could make an actual difference - and this summer proved that assumption right. I joined a team that works and fights hard to achieve the company’s vision, and couldn’t be prouder to have contributed to that mission.”

Christopher Choo, Application Engineer: “I picked up a great deal of design knowledge over the course of my internship. Being here, I was able to learn design principles that were reason-based, from people who’ve had years of industry experience.”

Ingrid Hess, Internal Communications: “My team showed me that there’s an interactive process to develop and release the best product for our audience, and not to take feedback personally when an internal client requests edits. I also learned how much work goes into the little things, such as determining the perfect wording of a 100-word product page blurb.”

Lillian Ezell, HR: “One of the soft skills that I’ve been developing during my internship is stakeholder communication, alongside general public speaking and presentation skills.”

Colby Dorcely, Public Policy: “Thanks to my internship, my writing and briefing skills have improved immensely. Moreover, I developed my overall communication skills, adding them to my professional arsenal.”

As an Infineon intern, you’ll step into the shoes of a full-time employee. Ingrid Hess, Internal Communications: “The ability to work on so many different projects was extraordinary. My team was extremely accommodating and made it abundantly clear that I would be included in any projects in which I showed interest..”

Lillian Ezell, HR: “I really enjoyed having the unusual opportunity to travel during my internship. I was even able to travel for development workshops, which was an amazing experience.”
