What to Expect When Infineon is at Your On-Campus Career Fair
If you see us on your college campus, don’t hesitate to stop by. Infineon sets up shop at a select number of campuses each year to provide a glimpse into the post-graduation world by informing students of Infineon’s changemaking role in the tech industry. And according to some of our employees, Infineon’s career fair program isn't one you’ll want to miss.
To provide a glimpse into the Infineon career fair experience, we’ve asked recently-graduated employees what makes Infineon stand out from the rest. Here’s what they had to say - and if you’re curious about our opportunities for recent graduates, visit our Careers page.
If Infineon Is on Your Campus
As a soon-to-be grad, your workforce welcome is fast approaching. And whether it be through Indeed, LinkedIn, or your on-campus career fair, there are numerous pathways to opportunity. However, the latter option is the most direct, since career fairs allow students to interact with current employees and get a feel for the company culture. This is our goal when Infineon travels to college campuses - to inform, educate, and prepare students for the working world that awaits them.
So if you run into Infineon on your college campus, don’t be shy! A new career could lie behind a simple introduction. To prepare you for a potential campus visit, we asked newly graduated employees what they’ve enjoyed most throughout their Infineon employment:
April Earle, PSS Division: “I love how much I’ve had the opportunity to do. I’ve had a variety of tasks and opportunities, and I can tell this is the right place for me since I’m a passionate learner.”
Dominic Gutierrez, PSS Division: “I’ve enjoyed working directly with team members, which I did not get to do at NASA (due to the pandemic). It has surprised me to learn how big Infineon is in other countries and the wide range of products we are responsible for.”
Mishra Abhinav, PSS Division: “I’ve always wanted to work in a place which has products that add value to society as a whole. At Infineon HiRel, I am proud of the fact that the products we design and manufacture are in environments such as Mars or outside of our solar system.”
Spencer Stone, PSS Division: “ I’ve enjoyed that my fellow team members show a genuine interest in the development of my career. In addition, Infineon is a big, international company and it could be easy to feel like your work does not make an impact. However, Infineon has made me feel that the work that I do does not go unnoticed and that I can do my part to bring value to the company each day.”
