My main focus lies on the development of embedded software and tools which help to bring Infineon’s vision of AI at the edge to life!
The results of my work are, for example, demonstrators as first proof-of-concepts for edge AI hardware and software, as well as tools which enable customers to deploy their machine learning models on Infineon platforms.
Working on cutting-edge topics in an international and diverse team.
Staying up to date in such a fast-paced domain as (embedded) AI/ML.
Don’t be afraid to leave your own comfort zone! Out there, you can explore and learn so many new things!
On daily basis, I communicate with the RF hardware team or Wi-Fi team in India or San Jose to figure out the firmware solutions needed for RF tuning or co-existence between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®. In my job, I get to implement system features on top of the latest Bluetooth® features.
Rosalyn's Story

My main focus is on providing firmware solutions for various features supported by Bluetooth® systems.
The direct results can be seen in better user experiences, such as reduced power consumption, as well as in smoother functionality when devices support multiple wireless protocols and standards such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®. More information can be found here.
I enjoy constantly providing solutions for better efficiency.
The company has a deep history in technology and you have to stay resourceful to be able to find the information you need.
I am inspired by respectful, smart, and motivated coworkers.
As a System Validation Engineer, my main focus is on achieving zero-defect quality for our system-on-chip solutions, which are the building blocks of modern electronic devices. A smooth customer experience is what motivates me in my daily challenges.
Yevhen's Story
Creating a smooth customer experience
Yevhen has been a System Validation Engineer for system-on-chip (SoC) development with Infineon (formerly Cypress) in Lviv, Ukraine, since 2019. He ensures that SoCs comply with their specifications, also validating electronic subsystems and software libraries. His job calls for a proactive, persistent mindset, cross-team communication and collaboration, and the ability to put himself in the customer’s shoes.
Yevhen in five words:
Maker WorldExplorer SolutionFinder Volunteer AllrounderBesides the fact that Infineon is a market leader in many areas, it is a company with a great culture and a friendly, supportive environment.
Ensure that the device (SoC) meets its specifications by developing and executing the automated tests for the electronic subsystems of that chip and the software libraries associated with it. This includes pre-silicon and post-silicon validation, as well as optimizing existing test processes to achieve zero-defect quality and customer satisfaction.
System on a chip, an example can be seen here. It is used for IoT, smart home, and industrial applications.
An opportunity to be part of the process of SoC development and keep your hand on the pulse of modern technology solutions. That means collaboration with the best professionals from all over the world and the possibility to improve things and innovate.
My job requires a lot of coordination among the teams to meet project deadlines and ensure the high quality of an SoC and associated software. A proactive, persistent mindset in the face of technical and communication challenges is thus crucial, especially when the schedule is tight. Another challenge is to think like a customer during work execution and ask yourself how the systems should be functioning and how they could be improved.
Each SoC development is a long journey that starts with a list of requirements and takes many months of intense teamwork. Since this process involves communicating with lots of engineers from different areas including developers, silicon architects, and verification engineers, you are always in the thick of things and learn a lot. After that, seeing the finished fully functional chip as part of a device on the market, and knowing that you contributed to it, gives you an incredible uplift and desire to move forward.
