“When we succeed as a company in consistently acting ethically and with integrity, then we also succeed in making the world a bit better.” Cornelia Godzierz (IFAG CO), Global Head of Compliance

Integrity is the guiding principle of Infineon in dealings with customers, shareholders, business partners, employees, and the general public. To ensure integrity in daily business, the Compliance Office (CO) serves as trusted advisors for all employees of Infineon.

This team of regional Compliance Officers and functional experts fosters a culture of compliant business by providing guidance and support to all employees. They develop a comprehensive Compliance Program, processes and trainings to equip employees of Infineon with the knowledge needed to do the right thing in daily business.

The Compliance Office also conducts regular risk assessments, to proactively mitigate potential risks effectively. This proactive approach safeguards not only the company but also its employees.

By maintaining open lines of communication, the Compliance Office encourages reporting of real or perceived misconduct. The Integrity Line and other internal channels ensure that concerns are promptly addressed and thoroughly investigated.

As a potential new employee, you'll find the Compliance Office to be an invaluable resource – here to support and advise you.

It is a company that respects its employees. Management is transparent about decisions made regarding assets, people and the business. It is a forward-looking company that wants to be operational in 50-100 years.

Ensure compliance with legal and other requirements, such as customer expectations. Design processes and programs for continuous improvement in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance.

Safeguarding our employees, our assets, the environment and communities where we operate.

Whenever I am able to make a difference in people‘s lifes that‘s where I am fulfilled.

There is a reason why a certain requirement needs to be followed. Advocating for this is my biggest challenge.

We all have limited resources and cannot focus on everything at all times. Smart working is imperative to move the needle forward, without compromising time away from other life responsibilities such as family, leisure and relaxation.

As Regional Compliance Officer, I am the “one-woman show” in Greater China. With support from my compliance team and regional colleagues, I try to be a reliable consultant when my colleagues face compliance challenges.

I think the unique thing about working at Infineon is that everyone has the chance to select a career path no matter what university major he/she took or what work experience he/she had.  For example, in our Compliance team, we have colleagues with very different work experience, such as Human Resources (HR), Procurement (PROC), Finance, Internal Audit or even Engineering!

As a regional Compliance Officer, my main task is of course to implement an effective Compliance Management System in every legal entity in our region.

Our Compliance Management System (CMS) has been audited by both internal and external auditors over the years and we can proudly say that we have a cutting-edge CMS at Infineon. A big “thank you” to all Infineon people!

I think my job highlight is when colleagues told me they have properly handled a compliance challenge without Compliance Officer‘s support. This means compliance has become an integral part of our DNA.

Being a “one-woman show“ means I have so many things on my plate and ad hoc topics pop up unexpectedly.  Balancing and prioritization is always a challenge.

I am actually a re-joiner because I worked at Infineon back in 2005.  During my first interview when applying for the Compliance Officer position, the HR manager told me there is only one selection criteria from the hiring manager.  I asked “what is it?”, he smiled and said “Love Infineon”. To me, the love for the company is the core belief and encourages each of us to strive for a better tomorrow for the company and for ourselves.
