The ModusToolbox™ Motor Suite is a comprehensive software solution designed to simplify and accelerate the development of motor control systems. With its intuitive interface and robust features, the Motor Suite provides a seamless experience for engineers and developers to design, test, and optimize modern motor control applications.
Using an easy-to-use GUI interface, the Power Conversion Configurator enables customizing the various parameters for a buck converter topology. The Configurator generates a basic schematic diagram, a Bode plot for user reference, and calculates the controller coefficient values to adapt to the user application requirements.

- Motor Suite is a comprehensive software solution designed to simplify and accelerate the development of motor control systems. With its intuitive interface and robust features, the Motor Suite provides a seamless experience for engineers and developers to design, test, and optimize motor control applications.
- Motor Control Card provides control and feedback interfaces for the target MCU to enable multi-motor as well as PFC control. The number of motors supported by the Motor Control Card depends on the MCU capabilities. It also contains an onboard programmer/debugger, user interface buttons, LEDs and potentiometers for convenient evaluation and development of motor control solutions.
- Drive Adapter Card is used for interfacing between the Motor Control Card and the Power Board. It provides two MADK M1/M3, one MADK M5 and two 2x30 pin PCB edge connectors for using power boards supporting these interfaces with the Motor Control Card.
- Power Board contains suitably rated power devices such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, to drive the connected motor(s) using the control signals from the Motor Control Card. It may also contain signal conditioning circuits for current and voltage feedback required by the MCU to control the motor in closed loop.
The latest release of the ModusToolbox™ Industrial MCU pack will install the Motor Suite GUI with support for the XMC7000 family of devices.
