DEMO_60LTR11_AUTO_BLE Getting started with the XENSIV™ 60GHz Motion demo board for presence detection
Infineon’s Wireless XENSIVTM Presence Detection demo kit works with a downloadable app to demonstrate Infineon’s 60 GHz Radar with BLE connectivity to show presence detection and directional movement. Infineon’s BGT60LTR11AIP radar IC can detect basic motion and direction of motion without the need for sophisticated algorithms or RF design experience. The Wireless XENSIVTM Presence Detection Sensor Demo kit along with the app will enable users to evaluate a working solution to envision the possibilities of RADAR in IoT edge applications.
Wireless XENSIVTM Presence Detection demo kit features Infineon’s 60 GHz Radar BGT60LTR11AIP with BLE connectivity to showcase capabilities for presence detection and directional movement. The Radar Motion Demo kit consists of a small coin cell-powered device with an Infineon AIROC Bluetooth PSoC module, plus a phone app for Android or iOS mobile handsets. The sensor is configured to operate in autonomous mode with no need for an external microcontroller to process radar data. Logic level outputs from the BGT60LTR11AIP indicate motion present in the field of view, as well as direction of motion (i.e. towards or away from the sensor).
