LITIX™ Power
DC-DC converter and controllers for medium- and high-power applications
The LITIX™ Power family consists of a buck converter, low-side switch controllers, and 4-switch buck-boost controllers. LITIX™ Power devices have no SPI interface; thus, they are the first choice for implementing basic feature requirements to reduce system costs.
- Fixed current/voltage configuration
- Boost, buck, B2B, SEPIC, flyback
- Flexible switching frequency range
- Wide input voltage range
TLD5045EJ provides constant current for stand-alone light functions
TLD5045 is a highly-integrated smart LED buck converter with built-in protection functions.
Main function of TLD5045EJ: To drive single or multiple in-series connected LEDs efficiently from a voltage source higher than the LED forward voltage by regulating a constant LED current.
The built-in freewheeling diode and switching transistor with current sense requires fewer external components and saves system costs.
High-flexibility is achieved by placing low-power resistors to adjust output currents up to 700 mA and the regulator switching frequency (typ. 200 kHz).
An integrated PWM dimming engine is dedicated to decentralized light modules without MCU.
TLD509xEP & TLD6098-1EP/-2ES - low-side switch boost DC-DC controllers
TLD509xEP and TLD6098-1EP/-2ES are low-side switch boost DC-DC controllers for cost-effective medium power applications.
They support step-up/down LED driver topologies to enable maximum design flexibility.
Continuous monitoring of load status is implemented in all devices. Some of them offer a spread spectrum to optimize EMC behavior.
The LED brightness can be controlled with analog or digital dimming.
TLD5190Qx: 4-switch buck-boost DC-DC controller for medium-/high-power
TLD5190Qx devices are 4-switch buck-boost DC-DC controllers for medium- to high-power applications.
They embed synchronous and seamless buck-boost regulation.
This configuration is suitable not only for LED applications but even for mobile wireless charging or battery management systems.
LITIX™ Power devices have no SPI interface; thus, they are the first choice for implementing basic feature requirements to reduce system costs.
