MOTIX™ multi MOSFET gate driver ICs for BDC motors: Are designed to control up to eight half-bridges (up to 16 n-channel MOSFETs) with one packaged device for automotive DC motor control applications such as power seat modules. The multi MOSFET gate driver ICs offer a reliable and cost optimized solution with state-of-the-art diagnostic and protection.
MOTIX™ gate driver ICs for BLDC motors: Infineon offers a comprehensive portfolio of automotive qualified ISO compliant, ASIL-B and ASIL-D 3-phase gate driver ICs (12 V to 48 V) for applications such as electric power steering, brake booster, MHEV starter generator, active roll control, HVAC compressor and pumps and fans.
For battery supplied BLDC motor control applications such as cordless power tools, gardening products or automated guided vehicles Infineon offers MOTIX™ 6EDL7141.
MOTIX™ single half bridge IC for BDC motors is a smart low-ohmic, protected half-bridge in a single package. This product has the capability to switch high frequency PWM while providing overcurrent, overvoltage and overtemperature protection. Target applications are electronic parking brake, active suspension control, fuel pumps as well as electronic seatbelt pretensioners, T-Case, HVAC control module, and many more due to its durability.
MOTIX™ multi half bridge ICs for BDC motors:The MOTIX™ multi half-bridge ICs range from 2-fold half-bridge ICs to 12-fold half-bridge ICs, and are designed for motor control in applications such as HVAC controle modules or decentralized mirror modules.
These products are not only tailored for body and brushed DC motor control applications, e.g. seat control modules, power lift gate, sunroof module, but also for BLDC motor control applications such as fuel and water pumps, fans and transfer case. The unique level of system integration, which includes power supply, transceivers and motor driver increases the value for customers. MOTIX™ 32-bit motor control SoC solutions achieve an ultra-small footprint by integrating on a single die an Arm® Cortex®-M CPU, supply, transceiver, and driver for < 1KW BDC and BLDC motor control in body, comfort, and thermal management applications.
MOTIX™ IMD700A and IMD701A are fully programmable 32-bit motor control SiP solutions for battery supplied motors based on XMC1404 with integrated power supply and 6EDL7141 3-phase gate driver IC.

Reference Designs
A reference design for engine cooling fan application using MOSFETs with a gate charge > 100nC presents the current capability via the first worldwide integrated bridge driver capable to drive 1kW motors at 12V.
It combines Infineon´s grade 0 technologies using the TLE9879QXW40 (Embedded Power IC, SoC) with the IAUA250N04S6N007 (OptiMOS™-6 40V MOSFET in sTOLL package).
A reference design for auxiliary water pump application and it is capable to drive 12V BLDC motors up to 140W. It combines Infineon´s grade 0 technologies using the TLE9879QXW40 (Embedded Power IC, SoC) with the IAUC60N04S6N031H
(OptiMOS™-6 40V MOSFET in SSO8 package).
The reference design for 150 W coolant pump applications is capable to drive 12 V BLDC motors with a nominal power of 150 W. It is equipped with Infineon OptiMOS™ MOSFETs and a MOTIX™ MCU (SoC) with CAN FD.
