USB Hub Controller IC
USB Hub Controller IC portfolio offers robust interoperability with various USB devices, extensive USB charging standards support, and full configurability to enhance signal quality
USB Hub Controller IC subcategories
Infineon offers a wide portfolio of hub controllers supporting USB 480/12/1.5 Mbps, 5 Gbps and 10 Gbps (formerly called USB 2.0 hub and USB 3.0 hub) with robust backward interoperability with legacy USB speeds.
The USB 10 Gbps EZ-USB™ HX3PD hub controller provide advanced USB-PD and battery charging capabilities, featuring up to eight downstream ports for full configurability and flexible design.
The versatile EZ-USB™ HX3 is a USB-IF compliant USB 5 Gbps hub controller which allows the charging of devices without a host (ghost charge) and enables upstream charging for portable devices with a USB on-the-go (OTG) host (ACA-dock feature). EZ-USB™ HX3 also includes automotive-grade products.
EZ-USB™ HX2LP and HX2VL are highly integrated USB 2.0 480/12/1.5 Mbps 2- or 4-ports hub controllers.
Infineon EZ-USB™ family of hub controller ICs integrates many of the external passive components, such as pull-up and pull-down resistors, reducing the overall bill of materials (BOM) required to implement a hub design.
