インフィニオン、最大50 kWのトラクション インバーター用パワー モジュール「EasyPACK™ 2B EDT2」をリリース

インフィニオン テクノロジーズ (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) は、フレキシブルで拡張性の高い車載品質対応ハーフブリッジ パワー モジュールであるEasyPACK™ 2B EDT2を発表しました。この新しい750 V耐圧対応パワー モジュールは、最大50 kW、230 Armsのモーター出力が実現可能で、 ハイブリッド車や電気自動車のインバーター アプリケーションに最適化されているモジュールです。

インフィニオンは、過去10年以上にわたり、さまざまなチップセットを搭載したEasyPACK™モジュールを、産業および車載アプリケーション向けに幅広く5,000万個以上販売してきました。このモジュールにEDT2 (Electric Drive Train) 技術チップセットを投入し、また完全車載品質に対応をすることで、インフィニオンはEasyPACK ™モジュール ファミリのアプリケーション範囲をトラクション インバーターまで拡大しました。EDT2技術の最大の特徴は、低負荷時の高効率です。EDT2チップは、マーケットで入手可能な他社製品より著しく低い損失を実現しており、インフィニオンの前世代チップよりも20%まで性能改善を行いました。

EasyPACK™のもうひとつの特徴は、モジュールの実装を容易にできるプラグアンドプレイ方式を採用していることです。また、従来のスルーホール ディスクリート パッケージやHybridPACK™ 1と比べて、ピンのはんだ付けが不要になりました。さらに、インフィニオンのPressFITコンタクト技術により、実装時間の短縮もできます。小さいパッケージ サイズにより、EasyPACK™ 2Bを3つ並べて使う場合でもHybridPACK™ 1の１つの面積より30%の表面エリア節約が可能です。これにより、非常にコンパクトなシステム実現だけではなくコスト効率の高い設計が可能です。さらに、EasyPACK™ 2B EDT2は、AQG324規格に完全準拠しています。

供給体制
