インフィニオン テクノロジーズ (FSE：IFX/OTCQX：IFNNY) は、EiceDRIVER™ 6ED223xS12T 1200 V Silicon-on-Isolator (SOI) 3相ゲートドライバーファミリーの導入に続き、EiceDRIVER™ 2ED132xS12xファミリーをポートフォリオに追加することを発表しました。ハーフブリッジ構成のドライバーICファミリーは、既存の1200V SOIシリーズを補完するもので、より多くの選択肢と設計の柔軟性をもたらします。出力電流の増加により、本製品はより高い電力レベルまで適用することができます。このデバイスには、業界をリードする負極性VS過渡耐性、短絡保護、低電圧時は動作停止(UVLO)、高速の過電流保護機能が備わっています。これらの機能により部品数 (bill of materials) が削減され、より頑丈な設計が可能になり、 商業用HVAC システム、 ヒート ポンプ 、 サーボ ドライブ 、産業用インバーター、ポンプ、ファンなど最大10 kWまでの高電力アプリケーションに適したコンパクトなサイズが実現できます。

 

このハーフブリッジ ドライバーICは、２種類のパッケージで４つのバージョンがあります。2ED132xS12Mは、DSO-16 300 milパッケージで、+2.3 A / -4.6 Aの電流能力を備えています。一方、2ED132xS12PはDSO-20 300 milパッケージで提供され、+2.3 A/-2.3 Aの電流駆動に対応しています。このファミリーは、十分な沿面距離と空間距離のあるパッケージで最高クラスのスイッチング性能を発揮します。これらの製品はロジック(VSS)と出力グランド(COM)が分離されており、低抵抗 (30Ω) ブートストラップ ダイオード、超高速高精度 (公差±5％) 過電流保護 (OCP) 、イネーブル入力、フォルトアウト、プログラマブル フォルト リセットの機能が内蔵されています。2ED132xS12Mには、アクティブ ミラー クランプ (AMC) 、ショート サーキット クランプ (SCC) の機能が追加されています。

 

インフィニオンのSOI技術は、寄生サイリスタ構造を排除し、VSピンの負の過渡電圧に対する優れた堅牢性と耐性を提供するものです。この結果、700 ns繰返しパルスで100 Vの-VS過渡耐性を保証しています。また、RoHS指令に準拠し、静電気放電 (ESD) と湿気に対する耐性も備えています。
