PSOC™ 4 HV integrates high-precision, programmable analog blocks, and programmable digital blocks with high-voltage (12 V) microcontroller operation and communication transceivers such as LIN/CXPI PHY, and an Arm® Cortex® M0+ CPU with embedded memory.
Infineon's PSOC™ 4 HV family of products is designed to be compliant with the automotive functional safety level of ASIL-B according to ISO 26262.

Key applications of PSOC™ 4 HV Arm® Cortex®-M0+
The PSOC™ 4 high-voltage precision analog (HVPA) is a great solution for various applications including 12 V lead-acid battery monitoring such as intelligent battery sensors as well as high-voltage battery current sensors. The precision analog is designed to provide high accuracy and reliability in the measurements, allowing for better battery management and increased safety.
On the other hand, the PSOC™ 4 high-voltage mixed signals (HVMS) can be used in a variety of applications such as automotive body HMI including touch buttons, sliders, and touchpads for steering wheels, door modules, overhead modules, and more. Additionally, it can be used for liquid level and quality sensing, as well as PTC heaters. This mixed signal solution provides a versatile platform for various sensing and control applications, with the ability to customize and combine different functions to meet specific requirements. PSOC™ Creator is an integrated design environment (IDE) that enables concurrent hardware and firmware editing, compiling, and debugging of PSOC™ and FM0+ systems. Applications are created using schematic capture and over 150 pre-verified, production-ready peripheral components.
