Infineon Makes a Donation to Pakistan

Neubiberg, Germany – August 24, 2010 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) has decided to make a donation of Euro 100,000 to Pakistan flood victims.


“We are dismayed at the extent of this disaster of the century in Pakistan and feel obligated to help those in great need,” says Peter Bauer, CEO of Infineon Technologies AG.


The donation will go to the population through the alliance of German relief organizations (Aktion Deutschland Hilft), the German Red Cross (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz) and the organization for children’s aid (Kindernothilfe). Each of the relief organizations will receive about one third of the sum.
