Infineon CD016J is an automotive-qualified burst-mode parallel flash with extended temperature support and a burst frequency of up to 75 MHz. These devices are optimized to withstand harsh under-the-hood automotive environments while maintaining high reliability and high performance with a capability to perform simultaneous read and write operations with zero latency on two separate banks. The CD family features a wide x32 data bus.

Automotive-qualified solutions for the harshest environments
Infineon CD NOR flash products are AEC-Q100 qualified for the automotive market for temperatures of up to 125°C enabling them to withstand harsh environments. High-temperature parallel NOR flash devices support ADAS, chassis, drivetrain, and infotainment systems. Infineon also provides production part approval process (PPAP) support for AEC-Q100 qualified products.

Simultaneous read and write operations with zero latency™
The simultaneous Read/Write architecture provides simultaneous operation by dividing the memory space into separate banks. The device can improve overall system performance by allowing a host system to program or erase in one bank while immediately and simultaneously reading from another bank with zero latency, releasing the system from waiting for the completion of the program or erase operation.
