電源にはクラス最高の性能、効率、頑丈さ、設計しやすさを備えたコンポーネントが求められます。インフィニオンテクノロジーズはこの需要に応え、第5世代となる周波数固定形700 V/800 V CoolSET™を発表しました。このソリューションでは、PWMコントローラーICと、最新の700 Vおよび800 V CoolMOS™ P7 MOSFETをひとつのパッケージにまとめました。絶縁と非絶縁の両方の形状のフライバックをひとつのプラットフォームでサポートします。 

新しい周波数固定形700 V/800 V CoolSETは、高電圧Superjunction MOSFETと内部カレントレギュレーターがカスケードで構成されています。この組み合わせにより、迅速なスタートアップとブラウンイン保護を実現しました。内臓された800 V MOSFETと最適化された最先端のブランキングタイムにより最大350 VACまでの高いAC入力に対応します。スイッチング損失は、負荷が低から中程度の場合にスイッチング周波数を抑えるエコモードで削減しました。 

出力に関する標準的な短絡、過負荷、および過電圧への保護に加え、このCoolSETは入力ラインの異常も検出可能です。インシステムの保護には、異常なスタートアップ状況の時のコントローラー損傷を防止するVCCおよびCSピンの接地が含まれています。過熱防止機能には動作時の障害への対応を改善するためヒステリシスを使用しています。すべての保護モードには自動復帰で、システムの動作中断を最小限に抑えています。
